Shipping Policy

At Astro Gear, we are committed to delivering your order as quickly, safely, and affordably as possible. Please take a moment to read our Shipping Policy.

1. Shipping Methods & Couriers

We ship local orders using  The Courier Guy.
Shipping options and costs will be displayed at checkout.

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping cost is a flat rate of R150. Because our markup is so low, we can only offer free shipping for orders over R2000.

3. Processing Time

  • For in-stock items, orders are usually processed and dispatched within 1-2 working days after payment is received.
  • For back-ordered or pre-order items, we will provide an estimated dispatch date after confirming availability, usually less than 2 weeks.

4. Delivery Timeframes

  • Local deliveries: Estimated delivery within 2โ€“5 business days after dispatch.

Please note that delivery times may vary during peak seasons or due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a link to track the delivery progress online.

6. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or appears to be lost:

  • Please contact us immediately at support@astrogear.co.za.
  • Provide your order number, photos (if damaged), and any relevant details.
  • We will assist you in filing a claim and arranging a replacement or refund where applicable.

7. Regional Availability

We currently only ship within South Africa.
If you are not in South Africa, please contact us to check if special arrangements can be made.
