ZWO ASI585MC Pro

The ZWO ASI585MC Pro is a cooled, one-shot-color astronomical imaging camera built around Sony’s advanced IMX585 CMOS sensor. With its 1/1.2″ format and 3840×2160 resolution, it delivers impressive detail for both deep-sky astrophotography and solar system imaging. Thanks to STARVIS 2 technology, the camera combines high sensitivity and dynamic range with excellent signal-to-noise performance, making faint nebulae, galaxies, and star fields stand out with clarity.

The ASI585MC Pro supports high frame rates (up to ~47 fps at full resolution) over USB 3.0, helping capture unblurred fine detail and making it suitable for lunar and planetary sequences as well as guiding. Its two-stage TEC cooling can reduce sensor temperature by more than 35 °C below ambient, significantly minimizing thermal noise for long exposures.
