Powered Saddle Hub for Cleaner Imaging Setups

The Proxisky DC/USB Saddle Hub combines a Vixen/Losmandy saddle with built-in 12V power and USB distribution, helping reduce cable clutter around the mount and telescope. It is designed to place key power and data connections closer to the optical tube, making it easier to build a tidy astrophotography setup.

Power and USB Distribution at the Saddle

The Saddle Hub provides six regulated 12V DC outputs, along with two USB 3.1 outputs and two USB 2.0 outputs. This makes it useful for powering and connecting common imaging accessories such as cameras, focusers, filter wheels, guide cameras, and other telescope-mounted equipment.

Vixen and Losmandy Support

The hub supports both Vixen and Losmandy dovetails, with side installation supported for Losmandy-style dovetails. This makes it suitable for a wide range of telescope setups.

Compatible with Multiple Mounts

With the correct adapter, the Saddle Hub can be used with all Proxisky mounts, as well as selected third-party mounts including the ZWO AM5, ZWO AM3, WD17, and WD20. Please ensure the correct saddle colour and adapter are selected for your mount.

Built-In Electrical Protection

The hub includes protection against reverse power, over-voltage, under-voltage, overcurrent, backflow current, surge, short circuit, electrostatic discharge, and excessive startup inrush current.

Important Note

The Proxisky Saddle Hub is intended as a power and USB distribution hub. It is not an ASCOM switch device and is not designed for software-controlled power switching in NINA.
