The Sky Rover 102 mm F/7 GPA is a general-purpose apochromatic refractor designed to serve both visual observers and astrophotographers. With its 102 mm aperture, 714 mm focal length, and flexible accessory compatibility, it offers a strong balance of portability, performance, and everyday usability.
The optical system uses a doublet air-spaced apochromatic design with a Super ED element to help control chromatic aberration and maintain strong image quality. This makes the telescope well suited to lunar, solar, deep-sky, and general observing use, while also providing a solid platform for imaging.
Sky Rover specifically positions the 102 GPA for both visual observation and astrophotography. When paired with the dedicated 1× field flattener, it is designed to deliver round, finely defined star images across the field, making it a more capable option for users who want to expand into imaging without moving to a dedicated astrograph.
The telescope is fitted with a 2.5-inch dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser and includes a 2-inch to 1.25-inch adapter for broad accessory compatibility. The tube uses a compact dual-ring mounting layout with a dovetail plate, giving it a secure and practical foundation for a wide range of setups.
