The Sky Rover 126MA is a multipurpose astrograph designed to combine astrophotography capability with the flexibility of a more traditional refractor. Its optical system integrates a triplet objective lens with an internal field flattener in a unified design, creating a native flat field that supports full-frame imaging directly at prime focus.
One of the standout strengths of the 126MA is its integrated optical design. Sky Rover uses two Japanese ED elements in the front lens group to improve chromatic aberration control and deliver finer image quality together with strong field uniformity.
Unlike many dedicated imaging scopes, the 126MA is also designed for visual use. Sky Rover specifically notes that it can be used with diagonals and eyepieces for visual observing, and that it can also be configured for binoviewer-style use with suitable accessories.
Sky Rover notes that the f/7 focal ratio makes focusing less demanding while still delivering sharp, high-quality images. For users who want a faster system, the optional 0.8x reducer is also available and is designed to maintain very good edge performance even with full-frame sensors.
Sky Rover also states that each telescope is individually checked with interferometric testing before shipment, and that a test report is included as standard.
