The Sky Rover 60 SA is a compact Petzval astrograph designed to deliver full-frame imaging capability in a highly portable format. With a 60 mm aperture, 300 mm focal length, and native 45 mm image circle, it is built for wide-field astrophotography without the need for a separate reducer or field flattener.
One of the standout strengths of the 60 SA is its four-element Petzval optical design. Because the correction is built into the telescope itself, there is no need to add an external flattener, which keeps the system simpler, more compact, and easier to use.
The telescope is fitted with a 2.8-inch dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser with an integrated CAA and 19 mm of total travel for astrophotography. The rear of the focuser provides both M70 x 1 and M48 x 0.75 interfaces, making it easier to integrate with imaging accessories.
With its short 300 mm focal length and compact physical size, the 60 SA is designed as a lightweight wide-field imaging scope that remains easy to transport and mount. Sky Rover also includes a Vixen dovetail plate and patented handle as part of the standard configuration.
