The Sky Rover 90SAP is a 90mm f/5 specialist astrograph built around an air-spaced quintuplet Petzval APO design. With its native flat field and large 55mm image circle, it is designed for medium-format astrophotography without the need for a separate field flattener.
One of the biggest advantages of the 90SAP is its naturally flat field. This makes it easier to build a clean imaging train and simplifies setup, since there is no need to calculate additional back focus for a separate flattener.
With a focal length of 450mm and a fast f/5 focal ratio, the 90SAP is well suited to wide-field deep-sky imaging. Sky Rover positions it as a serious imaging platform with strong correction across a large field, including pinpoint star performance within a 44mm area of the overall 55mm image circle.
The telescope features a 3.3-inch dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser with 38mm of effective travel, giving it the control needed for precise imaging setups. The overall mechanical design is built for stability, convenient framing, and easy integration with common astrophotography accessories.
The 90SAP includes tube rings, a dovetail plate, and a handle, giving you a solid platform for mounting accessories and building out a complete astrophotography rig. It is designed as a dedicated imaging telescope and is not intended for use with visual accessories such as diagonal mirrors.
