The Askar 52mm F4 Guide Scope features a doublet objective lens design incorporating one piece of ED glass for precise guiding. With a fast f/4 focal ratio and 208mm focal length, it provides excellent light-gathering power in a compact 631g package.
Designed for convenience, it includes a smooth helical focuser with 25mm of travel and a stable X-Y axis adjustable base for precise alignment. It comes standard with both a 1.25” adapter and an M42 threaded adapter to accommodate various cameras.
The all-metal construction is both durable and aesthetically pleasing. Its 52mm aperture offers 164% more light gathering than a 32mm scope, making it capable of detecting fainter guide stars (up to magnitude 10.4).
