In its standard configuration with the reducer, the FMA180 operates as a 180mm f/4.5 lens perfect for capturing wide-field deep-sky images. By removing the reducer, it converts into a 220mm f/5.5 triplet APO telescope suitable for visual observation or use as a high-quality finder/guider.
