Atlas is the next major product from Vaonis, with the full reveal scheduled for 15 October 2026 at 20:00 SAST.
Vaonis has described Atlas as the beginning of a new era for its astronomy platform, but full technical specifications and product details have not yet been released.
Ahead of the official launch, Vaonis has shared first-light imagery captured with Atlas, including a 68-minute integration of the Eagle Nebula (M16). Further details about the optical system, imaging hardware and observing features will be announced at launch.
AstroGear is an authorised Vaonis retailer in South Africa and intends to make Atlas available locally once dealer availability, pricing and delivery details have been confirmed.
This page will be updated with complete specifications, features, package contents, South African pricing and expected availability as soon as the information is released by Vaonis.
