The Proxisky CF40 is a compact carbon fibre tripod designed to provide strong, stable support for portable astrophotography mounts. With a tripod weight of only 2.1 kg and a payload capacity of 50 kg, it offers an excellent balance between portability and rigidity.
This updated CF40 tripod features rubber pads for improved stability, along with an additional latch for securing the connection plate. Three extra thumb screws provide further support and help keep the mounting platform secure during use.
With a folded length of 530 mm, the CF40 is easy to transport to dark-sky sites, observatories, and remote imaging locations. The tripod can be used at two working heights, 445 mm and 740 mm, giving users flexibility depending on their setup.
The improved connection plate offers additional screw patterns, making the CF40 a practical support option for a range of compatible astronomy mounts and accessories.
