A Pocket-Sized Smart Telescope for Exploring the Night Sky

The DWARF mini packs an automated telescope, tracking mount, astro camera and intelligent image-processing system into an exceptionally compact 840 g body. Designed to make astrophotography approachable without sacrificing useful imaging features, it can automatically locate, track and photograph celestial targets with control handled through the DWARFLAB app.

Whether you want to capture the Moon, bright nebulae, galaxies, the Milky Way or star trails, the DWARF mini removes much of the setup normally associated with astrophotography. Automatic GoTo, autofocus and celestial tracking allow you to spend more time imaging and less time aligning equipment.

Dual-Camera Aiming System

The DWARF mini combines a 30 mm telephoto telescope with a separate wide-angle camera. The telephoto system uses a 150 mm focal length apochromatic optical design and a Sony IMX662 sensor for detailed astronomical imaging, while the wide camera makes target acquisition and wide-field composition much easier.

The telephoto camera provides an equivalent focal length of approximately 1016 mm, while the wide-angle camera offers a much broader 45 mm equivalent view. This makes the system useful for everything from individual deep-sky targets to expansive Milky Way and star-trail compositions.

Built for Astrophotography

Despite its compact dimensions, the DWARF mini includes several features normally associated with significantly larger imaging setups. In equatorial mode it supports exposures of up to 90 seconds, allowing longer integrations while compensating for the rotation of the Earth.

The telephoto optical path also incorporates Astro, Dark and Duo-Band filters. The Duo-Band filter targets the important H-alpha and OIII emission regions, helping improve contrast when imaging emission nebulae from light-polluted locations.

Capture, Stack and Process from Your Phone

The DWARFLAB app handles telescope control as well as astronomical image processing. Features such as automatic target location, scheduled imaging, mosaics, frame selection and image stacking allow complete imaging sessions to be managed without a laptop.

For more advanced processing, RAW image data can also be exported for use with applications such as Siril, PixInsight or other astrophotography processing software.

Made to Travel

At only 840 g and approximately 184 mm tall, the DWARF mini is small enough to become part of your normal travel kit rather than equipment that only comes out for dedicated astronomy trips. Its built-in 7000 mAh battery, internal 64 GB storage and integrated mount make it particularly well suited to quick backyard sessions, dark-sky trips and portable observing.
