The PrimaLuceLab GIOTTO is a smart flat-field generator designed to help astrophotographers capture clean, repeatable flat calibration frames with less hassle.

GIOTTO uses multiple LED lights with a colour temperature similar to sunlight, combined with a specially designed diffuser to provide even illumination across the telescope aperture. Brightness can be adjusted in 100 steps from 0 to 100%, making it easy to match the exposure requirements of different cameras, filters, and optical systems.

Control is flexible: connect GIOTTO to an EAGLE or Windows computer via USB-C and use PrimaLuceLab PLAY software or the ASCOM driver, or control it wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet using the built-in Wi-Fi Virtual HandPad.

GIOTTO runs from a standard 12 V power source and includes thumbscrews for easy attachment to compatible telescope tubes. For remote or automated setups, selected GIOTTO models can also be paired with the optional ALTO telescope cover motor, allowing GIOTTO to be used as a remotely controlled motorised telescope cap.

Size note: choose a GIOTTO model with a maximum illuminated diameter larger than your telescope optics and suitable for the outside diameter of your telescope tube or dew shield.
