The M54M-M42M 2 mm Adapter is a compact male-to-male step-down adapter for connecting an M54 x 0.75 female-threaded component to an M42 x 0.75 female-threaded accessory.
It is useful when you need to transition from an M54 female connection to the smaller M42/T2 thread standard while adding only 2 mm of optical spacing. This adapter is commonly used when configuring short astrophotography imaging trains where backfocus space is limited.
