The M54M-M48M 2 mm Adapter is a compact male-to-male step-down adapter for connecting an M54 x 0.75 female-threaded component to an M48 x 0.75 female-threaded accessory.
It is useful when you need to transition from an M54 female connection to the common M48 thread standard while adding only 2 mm of optical spacing. This makes it suitable for fine-tuning backfocus in astrophotography imaging trains, especially where a very short adapter is required.
