The Maxi Dovetail Clamp Vixen+Losmandy PLUS is a heavy-duty dovetail clamp from the PrimaLuceLab PLUS modular system. It is CNC-machined from aluminium, sandblasted and hard-anodised for a durable finish and corrosion resistance. The clamp is engineered to support large loads and to integrate with other PLUS system components.
Key uses
- Securely retain Vixen- or Losmandy-style dovetails on mounts or plates.
- Create side-by-side mounting plates by installing two clamps on a PLUS plate for parallel telescopes.
- Position guide scopes by mounting the clamp on a Vixen or Losmandy PLUS plate placed above a telescope support ring.
Design and compatibility notes
- CNC-machined aluminium construction with hard anodising for rigidity and wear resistance.
- Contains multiple threaded holes and slots to attach PLUS system plates, rings and accessories.
- Central slots allow fixing to other plates or rings using screws when integrating third-party mechanical accessories.
