Ultra-Slim Precision for Premium Imaging Setups

The Astroasis Oasis Filter Wheel 7x2" is a premium motorised filter wheel designed for astrophotographers who want a thinner, cleaner, and more refined solution without compromising precision. With its fully flat 21mm body, carefully engineered drive system, and excellent overall rigidity, it is built to integrate neatly into modern imaging trains while delivering accurate and repeatable filter positioning.

Compact, Flat, and Elegantly Integrated

One of the standout features of the Oasis 7x2" Filter Wheel is its completely flat 21mm design. The motor is built into the body, which helps keep the overall profile slim and tidy for a more integrated look in high-end imaging setups.

Precision That Supports Better Calibration

Astroasis uses a special drive and positioning system designed to place each filter accurately and repeatably. Combined with stable disc movement and a rigid mechanical structure, this helps deliver consistent filter alignment for more reliable imaging and calibration frames.

Built for Stability and Light Control

Large bearings help the filter disc run smoothly and steadily, while the central screw design improves the overall rigidity of the wheel. Astroasis also pays close attention to light control, with anti-light-leak measures around the shell interfaces, USB port, screw holes, and connection points.

Flexible Filter and System Compatibility

The 7x2" version supports both 2-inch mounted filters and 50mm unmounted filters. It is also designed for compatibility with a wide range of cameras and OAGs, making it easy to integrate into many popular astrophotography systems.

Modern Connectivity

The filter wheel uses USB Type-C for both power and data, supports USB HID for driver-free basic operating system recognition, and works with ASCOM and INDI. A built-in temperature sensor and low-temperature operation down to -30°C make it well suited to demanding imaging conditions.
