The Astroasis Oasis Tilt Adjuster is designed to do more than correct sensor tilt. It also works as a universal camera-to-filter-wheel connector and a fine back-focus tuner, making it a highly practical upgrade for astrophotographers building a clean and flexible imaging train.
One of the biggest advantages of the Oasis Tilt Adjuster is that tilt can be adjusted without removing the camera from equipment such as the filter wheel. This makes the adjustment process far more convenient and also simplifies camera installation and removal. It supports both 3-point and 4-point adjustment methods, giving users flexibility when correcting tilt across the sensor.
In addition to tilt correction, the Oasis Tilt Adjuster allows the occupied back focus to be adjusted from 5.0mm to 5.5mm in precise 0.1mm steps. This makes it especially useful in tightly spaced imaging systems where small mechanical differences can matter.
The design uses separate camera and filter wheel connectors, allowing the tilt adjuster to bridge cameras and filter wheels from multiple brands. Because it occupies the same or nearly the same back focus as many original camera tilt plates, it can often be added with little or no back focus penalty while improving compatibility between components.
When used with compatible Astroasis Model A or Player One filter wheels, the tilt adjuster can be connected from the camera side, making assembly more convenient and helping avoid repeated disassembly of the filter wheel. Astroasis also includes comprehensive light sealing between the tilt adjuster, camera, and filter wheel to help reduce unwanted light leaks.
Machined from aluminum alloy components and finished with Astroasis' distinctive star-array styling, the Oasis Tilt Adjuster brings a more refined and integrated feel to the imaging train while still serving a very practical role.
