The Proxisky PE180 is a compact and lightweight pier extension designed to provide additional height and clearance for portable astronomy and astrophotography setups. With a height of 180 mm and a 100 mm diameter top plate, it is well suited to lightweight and medium-duty configurations where portability remains a priority.
By raising the mount 180 mm above the tripod or pier, the PE180 provides extra clearance for telescopes, cameras and imaging accessories. This is especially useful for longer optical tubes and imaging trains that may otherwise come close to the tripod legs while tracking or slewing.
The PE180 supports payloads of up to 30 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of lightweight to medium telescope and astrophotography setups. Its compact design keeps the overall system portable while still providing a secure and practical mounting platform.
