The QHY5III178 Mono is a compact, high-speed CMOS camera built around the back-illuminated Sony IMX178 monochrome sensor, making it an excellent choice for planetary, lunar, solar, and guiding applications.

With its small 2.4 µm pixels and high native resolution, the monochrome sensor delivers maximum sharpness and sensitivity, making the QHY5III178 particularly effective for high-resolution imaging where fine detail and contrast are critical.
