The Proxisky Saddle Hub Pro combines a Vixen and Losmandy-compatible saddle with power and USB distribution, plus remote control through Proxisky Center 2.0 or ASCOM. It brings connections closer to your telescope, helping reduce cable clutter and simplify your astrophotography setup.
The Pro version supports software control through Proxisky Center 2.0 or ASCOM, allowing integration with compatible astronomy software. This adds remote-control functionality to the saddle-mounted hub, making it especially useful for automated imaging setups.
Six regulated 12 V DC outputs supply telescope-mounted equipment such as cameras, focusers and filter wheels. Each output is rated for up to 6 A, subject to the hub's combined maximum output of 120 W (12 V × 10 A).
Two USB 3.1 and two USB 2.0 outputs provide connectivity for imaging accessories, with USB power rated at 5 V and up to 3 A per port. The upstream connection is USB 3.1 Type-B.
Power input is 12–15 V DC through a 5.5 × 2.1 mm connector. Connected equipment must remain within the individual port ratings and the hub's total power limit.
The saddle accepts Vixen and Losmandy dovetails, with side loading supported for Losmandy-style dovetails.
Mount-specific adapters allow installation on Proxisky mounts and selected third-party models, including the ZWO AM5, ZWO AM3, WD17 and WD20. Select the correct adapter for your mount when ordering.
Protection includes reverse polarity, over-voltage, under-voltage, overcurrent, backflow current, surges, short circuits, electrostatic discharge and excessive startup inrush current.
