Explore Uranus-M Pro
The Uranus-M Pro is a compact cooled monochrome camera built for deep-sky precision. Its 1/1.2" IMX585 sensor with 2.9 µm pixels combines high quantum efficiency and an 8.3 MP resolution for detailed captures, while the dual-stage cooling lowers thermal noise for long exposures and cleaner data.

Sensor: IMX585 mono
Format: 11.2 x 6.3 mm (1/1.2″)
Max Resolution: 3856 x 2180 (8.3 MP)
Pixel Size: 2.9 µm
At 3856 × 2180 (8.3 MP) the Sony IMX585 mono sensor delivers fine detail from a 1/1.2" format. The 2.9 µm pixels are a trade-off between sensitivity and resolving power, suitable for small-sensor imaging on a wide range of telescopes and focal lengths.
A two-stage TEC cooler can pull the sensor about 35 to 40 °C below ambient, reducing dark current for long exposures. This lower thermal background helps preserve faint details in deep-sky targets and improves signal-to-noise in stacked integrations.
The camera streams up to about 46–47 FPS in RAW8 over USB 3.0 for faster framing or focusing workflows, and its full well capacity around 47 ke- gives a generous dynamic range for bright cores and faint nebulosity in the same frame.
Designed for serious astrophotographers, the Player One Uranus-M PRO (IMX585) is a cooled USB3.0 mono camera built for deep-sky imaging precision.
It features 12 bit analog-to-digital converter for excellent dynamic range, 2.9 μm pixels for optimal balance of sensitivity and detail
Its carbon-fiber body, dual TEC cooling, and tilt plate integration offer uncompromising image quality across DSO, solar, and lunar targets.
Sony IMX585 1/1.2″ CMOS Sensor (Mono):
8.3 MP resolution (3856 x 2180), 2.9 µm pixel size, 12.85 mm diagonal.
Dual Tilt Plate Design:
