The Wanderer Dew Terminator is a compact and powerful 3-channel dew-heater controller designed for precise, automated dew prevention on astrophotography rigs.
Using ambient temperature, humidity, and individual dew-heater temperature probes, the Dew Terminator can automatically regulate heater output based on dew point, helping keep optics dry while reducing unnecessary heat and power usage.
Each of the three PWM outputs can be configured independently in the Wanderer ASCOM driver. Use them as dew-heater outputs with 255-level PWM power adjustment, or switch them into DC switch mode for controlling compatible 12 V devices such as cameras, flat panels, or other accessories.
The unit also includes three always-on 12 V DC outputs, making it useful as a compact DC hub or switchable power controller. With voltage monitoring, ambient sensor monitoring, heater temperature monitoring, and included sensors, it is a smart little dew-control brick for both portable and permanent setups.
Weighing only around 91 g and measuring just 74 mm x 53 mm x 23 mm, the Wanderer Dew Terminator is easy to mount directly on your rig using the M6 and M4 threaded holes on the bottom of the unit.
