The WandererCover V4 Pro-EC is a professional motorised flat-field panel and dust cover designed for larger telescopes and heavier front-end installations.
Compared with the standard V4-EC range, the Pro-EC version uses a larger motor box and a high-torque, self-locking motor better suited to large-aperture telescopes. It combines an automated dust cover with a bright, evenly illuminated flat panel, making it ideal for observatory rigs, truss telescopes, RCs, SCTs, and larger refractors.
The built-in encoder provides real-time position feedback and repeatable cover positioning with accuracy up to ±0.25°. The cover can open up to 270 degrees, and custom opening and closing angles can be configured for different telescope setups.
The integrated flat panel offers 255 brightness levels with increased dimming frequency to help reduce banding, making it suitable for both broadband and narrowband flats. The Pro-EC also supports ASCOM, INDI, ZWO ASIAIR Plus, ToupTek StellaVita, and compatible DC-switch control setups with current firmware.
The motor box includes M3 and M4 threaded mounting holes, making it more practical for truss telescope installations or custom brackets. Its cold-resistant design allows operation down to -25 °C, making it suitable for remote and winter imaging setups.
Size note: choose a WandererCover with a luminous diameter equal to or larger than the outside diameter of your telescope’s dew shield or front opening.
