Explore Vespera Pro 2

More detail, made accessible

For enthusiasts who want to explore fine detail without taking on every setup task, the Vespera Pro 2 pairs a 50 mm smart telescope with automated imaging. Its 12.5 MP Sony IMX676 sensor and 2 µm pixels provide finer sampling, but those specifications do not guarantee what any particular sky or session will reveal.

Fine sampling in a compact optical system

The 50 mm apochromatic quadruplet combines a 245 mm focal length with an f/4.9 focal ratio. Its IMX676 sensor uses 2 µm pixels, giving a finer image scale for recording small details. The native field of view is 1.9° x 1.1°, so this sampling sits within a relatively broad view, though results still depend on observing conditions.

Expand the frame with CovalENS mosaics

For targets wider than one native view, CovalENS automatically captures adjacent areas and combines them into a mosaic. The saved maximum is 3.4° x 1.9° at up to 50 MP. That larger field and mosaic resolution describe the combined image, not a change to the native 1.9° x 1.1° field or the sensor’s 12.5 MP resolution.

From setup to live stacking

Singularity, Vaonis’s control app for iOS and Android, guides the imaging workflow. The telescope handles alignment, target acquisition, tracking and focusing automatically, and can live-stack frames as they arrive. That reduces hands-on setup steps, while choosing what to observe and when to begin remains part of your session.

From setup to live stacking

Continue imaging projects across nights

Framing, exposure settings, mosaic progress and stacking progress are retained between sessions, so you can resume a project without rebuilding it manually each night. This supports longer total integration across multiple sessions. It preserves project state, not clear skies or uninterrupted unattended operation.

Choose a live view or a post-processing workflow

Live stacking aligns and combines captured frames during a session, building an image as you go. For later editing, 16-bit exports can be used in software such as PixInsight or Siril; individual FITS frames are also available for a hands-on workflow. Supported image formats include JPG, TIFF and FITS, but the 16-bit export claim does not apply to every format.

Plan power, storage and field setup

The built-in battery provides up to 11 hours of operation, and 225 GB of internal storage accommodates extended projects and mosaic data. An integrated anti-fog system activates automatically when needed. A carbon tripod is included. Remember to bring a USB-C charging cable and power adapter, as neither is included in the package.
